At Farm + Sea, our mission is to elevate your every day with uncomplicated, beautifully fragranced goods.
Our story began with founder Mary Swenson’s obsession with cultivating a cozy, inviting home filled with meaningful objects. Inspired by her love of New England, and the utilitarian beauty of farms and the transformative power of the sea that uniquely defines this area, Mary set out to create a brand that uses the power of scent to evoke a memory, to create a mood, and to uplift and relax, in simple, classic vessels.
And so Farm + Sea was born in 2015, on the dining room table in the antique home she shares with her husband, Rob, in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
Today, Mary, Rob, and their small-but-mighty team work out of their production studio in Amesbury, Massachusetts, where everything is made in small batches using quality ingredients and carefully chosen scents that change seasonally.
That same dining room table sits as a centerpiece in our retail shop, covered with the products that are made on just the other side of those shop walls: simple, honest goods that enhance everyday moments.
That dining room table is a piece of a story that we never set out to write, but one that has happened so organically and naturally that we simply can’t imagine our lives any other way.
